“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won.”  -Gandhi

While visiting my nephew in California this week, I got to watch him with his friends. What a treat. He and they are incredible people; thoughtful, wise and talented. A great conversation took place while he was preparing a dinner for us, something he does fairly often, apparently…and he’s good at it. “Why is everything you make SO good,” someone asked. “My mentor at the Italian restaurant I used to work at taught me to always put a little bit of love into everything I make,” was his response.

I thought about how true that is of everything we do. A little bit of love goes a long way. What contribution would you make to others if you put a little bit of love into your presentations…into your sales…into your leadership? What if everything you did was really just a vehicle for conveying love; every song you sing, every memo you send, every meal you cook, every sale you make? This week, consider putting a little bit of love into everything you touch, and see how it affects your confidence, your satisfaction, and your results.
