Prepare to fight me on this…

Bill Mahr made a film about religious hypocrasy. I’ve got to be honest. I haven’t seen it. I probably will, but my purpose here is not to knock on religion. Hypocrasy on the other hand…that I’m glad to knock on.

So here’s my admonition for all you “good Christians” out there. (And this applies to all you good Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, etc.)

How can you worship someone and then ignore what he says???

Jesus said, “Seek first the kingdom of heaven and all else will be given unto you.” He also said, “The kingdom of heaven is within.”

So, if everything you want and need, according to YOUR SAVIOR, is available within you, WHY ARE YOU LOOKING EVERYWHERE ELSE???

How much time have you spent “within?” Do you have the slightest idea what that inner kingdom of heaven is all about? Why isn’t that your #1 priority?

Housed within your very being is infinity. You have infinite resources, infinite wisdom, infinite ideas, infinite potential…but you have to visit there to get it. Once you do, all the BS begins to fall away.

The Mindfulness Process is a system for seeing through the illusion of who you think you are. You’re NOT the endless stream of thoughts, fears, judgments, worries, and defenses that you call “me.” You’re something much grander, more beautiful, and freer.

DO THE WORK!!! Find the truth. Dissolve the illusion. Let the process begin to evaporate all the fears, phobias, and struggles that block your success and keep you from your good.

My friend Barry calls it “getting backstage.” From back there, all the drama is JUST DRAMA. Here’s my latest quote:
