As a magician, my job is to make people think they’re seeing things that aren’t there; or not seeing things that are. Why do I do it? There are so many gifts that magic offers.

  • Astonishment-Just a moment of astonishment has the power to completely rearrange your neurology. You’re momentarily silenced, your internal dialogue is interrupted, and you fall into an altered state.
  • Transformation-The laughter and surprise that follow the moment of magic quickly turn sober adults into joyful children. Concerns melt away and life becomes instantly more fun.
  • Hope-The demonstration of impossible things suddenly creates a sense of possibility. Maybe what we thought was impossible really isn’t!
  • Preparation-While the magician’s effect appears effortless, he’s actually doing many things “below the radar” to accomplish the effect. A skilled magician, like a skilled anything, has mastered the craft and makes it seem easy.
  • Perception-What you see isn’t what’s really happening. Perception isn’t reality, but our perception does produce our results.

Now, think of how all that plays into your life. What are you believing that may not be true? What are you accepting without question? Are your obstacles reality or illusion? Are you really limited by the things you think stand in your way…or are you being fooled?

You can become your own magician. Through the proper application of preparation, you can make the impossible possible. You can create success, love and happiness. You can live a remarkably rewarding life.

But first, you have to STOP trusting your senses! Stop believing your judgments about yourself and others. Stop believing your fears. Dissolve illusion. Illuminate truth.

By the way, have you been over to visit my show website? It’s pretty cool. Take a look and let me know what you think. It’s www.stevetaubmanshows.com.
